Templates and Transparency Settings Dialog Box

The Templates and Transparency Settings dialog box is displayed when you click the Select button in the Tool buttons and double-click the image placed on the backing paper.

You can configure the transparency of the P.I.F. Frame.

Shape buttons

Selects a shape (such as rectangle, oval, polygon, arc, star, spade, heart, diamond, or clover) that you want to transmit. When you drag the cursor on the image, the shape is applied and the image is transmitted through the shape.

Free Curve buttons

Selects a free curve for the transmission with the thickness of 1, 4, 8, or 16 pixels.

Set/Clear Transparency Level button

Sets or clears the transparency level.
The transmission is cleared if the button is pressed.
The image is transmitted if the button is not pressed.

Enlarge/Reduce button

Selects the enlargement of the image. Select the + button and click the image to enlarge it. Or, select the - button to reduce the image.

Undo button

Reverts the transparency to the previous state.

Show/Hide Background button

Selects whether to display a background. By default, it is not displayed.

Image Display area

Displays the transmitted image.

Help button

Displays this online manual.

Cancel button

Cancels the settings and returns to the Edit Frame dialog box.

OK button

Applies the settings and returns to the Edit Frame dialog box.

Transparency Level
(Only when editing a P.I.F. Frame using the software for P.I.F.)

Transparency Level:

Sets the transparency level from 0 to 100%.
When you move the slider to the right, transparency becomes clearer. When you move the slider to the left, transparency becomes hazier. Setting the slider at 0% indicates no change.

Transparency Level (Reverse):

Sets the reverse transparency level from 0 to 100%.
When you set the slider at 0%, the transparency is completely released. When you move the slider to the right, the transparency comes back hazily.
When you set the slider at 100%, the transparency is not released even when the transmitted part is selected.

Edge Gradation Level

Sets the edge gradation level for the whole picture from 0 to 100%.
